This practical, action learning course is designed to  provide learners with the skills required of maintenance technicians to reliably diagnose and repair faults in electrically controlled production equipment and communicate effectively on electrical issues to machine experts.

This practical, applied learning module will equip learners with relevant akilla and knowledge to programme and troubleshoot industrial robotic systems and to carry out maintenance activities.

The purpose of this model is to enable learners  to select and set up  appropriate sensors and aply logical faultfinding to sensor systems based on their understanding of sensor technologies  and their role in automated technology.

The purpose of this module is to embed in learners, a powerful logical thinking strategy to enable successful, meta-cognitive, fault finding and proof technological systems and to facilitate learners to identify and evaluate the key contributary factors for effective communication within a larger team horizontally across production shifts and vertically to SME’s, supervisors and managers when escalating open issues.

The Engineering Skillnet has co-created a new Major Level 6 Award in conjunction with Technotraining. Each individual and single-certified module is delivered either as classes,on-site, for member companies (class sizes maximum of ten) with delivery for individual learners also available, regularly in Dublin and Cork. Funding varies depending on eligiblity and availabilty.
