Adaptive Programme Management with A.I. - single semester

The Network, in collaboration with Trigraph Intelligent Learning, is addressing a critical efficiency gap in the engineering sector: the inability to scale due to rigid, client-specific processes and project management practices.

To help members move toward standardized, scalable governance, we are launching a 12-week virtual programme starting March 27th.

Background: Increasing use of automation, digitalisation and AI will change how projects and programmes are managed and force PMs to acquire new and evolving skills. It is more important than ever that tacit knowledge and experiences are captured and transferred in an inter-generational workforce.

Objective: Deliver an interactive, workshop-based program to develop capability in creative and original use of transferable skills such as project & programme management. The course will be around the selection and prioritisation of proven methods, knowledge, skills and techniques for cross-functional engineering teams in future programmes for manufacturing, transport, energy, water, communications and housing.

Audience: Engineers at all levels seeking to acquire cross-cutting and transferrable skills in Project & Programme Management.

Pre-requisite: Some knowledge of any Project Management Methodology.

Modules include:

  1. Methodologies - From Processes to Principles
  2. Accountability Governance
  3. Comparison of Methodologies
  4. Design & development of own templates & dashboards.
  5. AI & AI tools in Project Management.

Learners are supported by an experienced Programme Manatger and qualified engineer (experienced in manufacturing and critical infrastructure) to work together in pairs (two learners from each participating company). This is applied learning with learners presenting and showcasing their work-integrated projects.

Course Structure, Schedule & Outline

  • 5 x ½ days of class tuition – interactive & virtual.
  • 3 x clinic days featuring 90 minute virtual workshops with each client company to work on a specific topic or aspect of project and programme management in their own business environment.
  • 1 x ½ day Virtual Capstone Event where each client presents their work in plenary with the peer companies.

Why this course is critical for your team now:

  • AI & Digital Readiness: We specifically cover how to integrate AI tools into project workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Real-World Application: The course includes dedicated "Clinic Days" where participants work on your specific business challenges, not just theoretical case studies.
  • Strategic Value: We train Project Managers to look beyond the technical deliverables and align their work with your company's broader strategic goals.
